Hide an unwanted element in a picture

When you can't crop out distracting elements in a picture, you can cover them with a more desirable element. For example, you might hide a garbage can by covering it with a bush or a patch of grass that you cut out from another picture.

  1. Open or select the picture that contains the element you want to use.

    Open a picture on your hard disk or a network

    Switch to another picture in the picture list

  2. Cut out the element to use in another picture

    Cut out an area with the Edge Finder

  3. Open or select the picture that contains the element you want to hide.

  4. Drag the new object that you cut out onto the picture area.

  5. Reposition or resize the new object

  6. Retouch the new object to blend it into your target photo.

    Adjust the brightness and contrast

    Fix the tint

    Blur or sharpen an object
